Honeymoon Suite
at The Pacuare Lodge

Pacuare Lodge

A honeymoon is a celebration of love with your soul mate; a joyful experience whose memories will be treasured for a lifetime. At the Pacuare Lodge, we have created the perfect setting to enjoy a truly memorable honeymoon adventure.

The Honeymoon Suite at the Pacuare Lodge is nestled amidst the secluded rain forest on a knoll overlooking the rest of the bungalows and the main lodge set along the banks of the scenic Pacuare River.
The dreamy hideaway offers privacy and silence, with the distant song of the river rushing by and sweet chirping of tropical birds the only sounds you are likely to hear. A rock path leads guests from the main lodge up to the Honeymoon Suite, a modern wooden bungalow with a palm-thatched roof, high ceiling, hardwood floors and plenty of natural light.

Honeymooners and anyone else seeking a romantic get-away will find it in the spacious and airy bungalow, containing a king-sized bed, futon couch, wood tables with candles and vibrant fresh tropical flower arrangements.

The large wood-and-tile bathroom boasts sun-heated water, biodegradable soap and shampoo and giant picture windows that look out onto the dense forest behind the bungalow, framing the colorful hummingbirds that arrive for just an instant before flitting off into the greenery again in search of sweet nectar.

From the extensive wooden deck in front of the bungalow, guests can appreciate a breathtaking view of stately ancient trees rising up from the dense vegetation covering the mountain across the river. A small, thatched-roof rancho on the deck provides a comfortable place to admire the scenery in case of tropical showers.

A hanging bridge takes visitors from the deck of the honeymoon bungalow across to a platform high in a towering tree whose roots are grounded in the main camp far below. The private treetop platform is the perfect place for lovebirds to admire the unique jungle view and glimpse myriad species of colorful tropical birds, including Toucans and Oropendulas, and brilliant butterflies such as the giant Blue Morpho.
